About Us

The Tennessee Conservative PAC was formed in 2004 to support pro-life, family values-driven, conservative Republican candidates. In the 2004 election cycle, the PAC contributed $204,000 toward that end. Of 22 candidates supported, 11 were successful in their efforts, including six challengers. The PAC's efforts were significant in the Republican Party earning a majority in the state Senate for the first time in 140 years. In the Tennessee House, where it was widely expected that the Republicans would lose seats, they actually had a net gain of one. The Tennessee Conservative PAC played a significant role in making this happen. The PAC was funded in the 2004 election cycle by stalwart group of 26 donors.

The Tennessee Conservative PAC continued its work to expand the narrow GOP majority in the state Senate and to secure a Republican majority in the state House by capturing at least four seats in the 2006 election cycle. We sought to do this by continuing to expand our network of friends and supporters across the state. It is our objective to achieve a greater level of parity relative to Democrats in the amount of funds available to Republicans to communicate the conservative message.

Traditionally, the Democrats have outspent Republicans by as much as 4:1, effectively drowning out the conservative Republican message with Democrat demagoguery and double-speak. We believe we have the winning message, and when voters are given the opportunity to compare the conservative Republican message to that of the Democrats, we win!

Mission

The Political Action Committee "Tennessee Conservative" was organized to assist individuals willing to hold themselves up for public office. At a time when government and its institutions (legislative, executive and judicial) are becoming the oracles of social morals, there are those of us that feel strongly that candidates of faith and conviction deserve to have their voices heard.

The Tennessee Conservative PAC donates money to candidates who are willing to articulate strong conservative social values such as respect for the lives of the unborn, support of traditional marriage, child rearing by the family and not the village, and education as parental concern not just as another government institution.

Often we have been referred to as the "silent majority" and there are those (of a more liberal persuasion) that would like for us to stay that way. The attacks have begun and the accusations are scurrilous at best, if not downright lies.

We of the Tennessee Conservative PAC appreciate your taking the time to learn the truth about us and would encourage you to join a worthwhile cause to assist candidates who will help to protect the traditions that have made us a great nation.
